Created in 1721 by Deacon Montieri, this is one of the rarest Tarot decks in the world, as most were burned by order of ecclesiastical authorities. The deck follows the reduced number of cards found in the Bolognese variant and does not feature illustrations, but rather symbols and Montieri’s annotations on the society, politics, and geography of the 18th century. Artwork by Dean Montieri, 62 cards, 63x130 mm. Numbered edition limited to 2,999 copies. Instructions included in multiple languages.
