Limpia | Traditional Spiritual Cleansing with Rocio

A Limpia is a traditional spiritual cleansing practice used across generations and cultures throughout Latin America to clear heavy, stagnant, or unwanted energy and restore a greater sense of balance within the energetic and spiritual body.

Rooted in her Peruvian lineage and work as a paqowarmi and curandera, Rocio approaches each Limpia as an individualized ceremonial experience. Rather than following a single prescribed process, she works intuitively with the person in front of her, allowing the cleansing to unfold according to what is present and what is asking to be cleared.

During the session, Rocio may work with traditional cleansing elements such as herbs, plants, smoke, prayer, intention, sound, or other sacred tools and practices. These elements are used to cleanse the energetic field, move stagnant energy, and support the release of what may no longer belong or feel aligned.

A Limpia may be sought during periods of transition, after emotionally or energetically heavy experiences, when you have been feeling weighed down or disconnected, or simply when you feel called to clear your energy and create space for something new.

Each session is unique. What arises, what is used, and how the ceremony unfolds will vary from person to person.

You do not need to arrive with a specific intention or understanding of what needs to be cleared. You are invited simply to come as you are and allow Rocio to meet you where you are.
