  Apache Tears are beautiful, naturally formed pieces of black volcanic glass that have been gently tumbled to reveal their smooth, polished surface. Unlike most black obsidian, many Apache Tears become slightly translucent when held up to a bright light, revealing warm brown or smoky tones within the stone.

Apache Tear is a naturally occurring variety of obsidian, which is volcanic glass formed when lava cools extremely rapidly.
