St. Christopher. Patron Saint of Travelers. St. Christopher made his living carrying people across a river.  One day he carried a boy who grew increasingly heavy as they traveled.  It was later revealed to him that he is carrying Christ;  His heaviness was caused by carrying the weight of the world.  Because of this, Christopher (Christ-bearer) is known as the patron saint of travelers.
